MSI is twenty years old and is a privately owned business and is South Australia’s largest wire working company. MSI now operates what is Australia’s largest range of CNC and mechanical wire and strip forming equipment, most of which is specially imported from Europe. Complimenting the manufacturing operations are robot welders (mig and spot), wire straighten and cut machines and pedestal welders, and 2D and 3D CNC mesh and special purpose welding equipment and a nylon coating line.
We manufacture products for all major industry segments and the MSI product range includes seating components and assemblies, whitegoods components and assemblies, exhaust and suspension support brackets, roof tile clips, brick ties, olive stakes and grape supports, gutter brackets, air conditioning and automotive clips and assemblies, automotive torsion bars, clips for the mining industry and display products through its Scanarak product brand.
We have our own toolroom complete with wire-cut machine and have quality accreditation to ISO9001:2000 standard.
Next time you open you Electrolux dishwasher, you will know that the baskets inside are manufactured, coated and assembled by MSI. If you drive a Holden Monaro or Commodore, the rear seat frames come from us. The gutter brackets holding up your gutters at home are probably made on our multi slide machines and if you drive a Toyota Camry, the boot is held up by two of our torsion bars! From automotive to whitegoods, to mining, agriculture, and retail, our products are everywhere.
MSI today is a local South Australian success story operating in a niche in manufacturing, at a time when many manufacturers are either disappearing or going overseas.
